He should instead wait and head back up for a block that has a ? Switch on it, on the left side. Mario should not enter the door located on the bottom of the room. Then the player will be in a room with the second Star Coin. At the top is a door that Mario must enter. ![]() Some stairs will then be visible, and Mario must climb them. When Mario gets to the first part of the room, he should lure away the Boo from its position, and press the ? Switch that it was hiding. Mario must then press the ? Switch and head left. What looks like the same room is actually different, as the Big Boo has 'turned into' a Boo. Then, the player must head right until they see a door. Mario must press the ? Switch at the end of the room and go in the right door. This will lead you past the regular pipe exit and towards a new secret exit.This Ghost House is a difficult maze, similar to the Ghost House found in World 5 in New Super Mario Bros. This area alone has many coins, but the secret exit comes from jumping up yet again, using a blue rock crystal to propel you over a second ceiling. From here you can jump up and over the rock ceiling, allowing you to run above the ceiling level - reminiscent of early mario secret areas. When you reach the area with the red circle, wait for the purple half circle crystal rock to slant downwards before returning to where the red circle was.
